Ellison's Cave is a pit cave located in Walker County, on Pigeon Mountain in the Appalachian Plateaus of Northwest Georgia. It is the 12th deepest cave in the United States and features the deepest, unobstructed underground pitch in the continental US named Fantastic Pit. The cave is over 12 miles long and extends 1063 feet vertically. Ellison's features a number of underground vertical pitches including the two tallest pits in the continental United States. Source
Zlot Caves is the collective term for two caves, Lazar's Cave and Vernjikica, located in the town of Zlot,
in the Bor municipality in eastern Serbia. There are 22 km from the caves to Bor
and 240 km to Belgrade. Source
Skaftafell is a preservation area in Oraefi, southeast Iceland.
Skaftafell
National Park was a national park, situated between Kirkjubaejarklaustur,
typically referred to as Klaustur, and Hofn in the south of Iceland. On 7 June
2008, it became a part of the larger Vatnajokull National Park. It was founded on September 15, 1967, and enlarged twice
afterwards. Before its inclusion into Vatnajokull National Park, it measured
about 4807 km2. Source
