The mountain range is located in the eastern United States, starting at its southernmost portion in Georgia, then ending northward in Pennsylvania. To the west of the Blue Ridge, between it and the bulk of the Appalachians, lies the Great Appalachian Valley, bordered on the west by the Ridge and Valley province of the Appalachian range. Source
An aurora is a natural light display in the sky (from the Latin word aurora, "sunrise" or the Roman goddess of dawn), especially in the high latitude. Its southern counterpart, the aurora australis (or the southern lights), has features that are almost identical to the aurora borealis and changes simultaneously with changes in the northern auroral zone. It is visible from high southern latitudes in Antarctica, South America, New Zealand, and Australia. Auroras occur on other planets. Similar to the Earth's aurora, they are visible close to the planet's magnetic poles. Source
The Moon is the Earth's only natural satellite. Although not the largest natural
satellite in the Solar System, it is, among the satellites of major planets. The
Moon is thought to have formed nearly 4.5 billion years ago, not long after
Earth. Although there have been several hypotheses for its origin in the past,
the current most widely accepted explanation is that the Moon formed from the
debris left over after a giant impact between Earth and a Mars-sized body. Source
The Redwood National and State Parks are located in the United States, along the coast of northern California. Comprising Redwood National Park (established 1968). The National Park Service and the California Department of Parks and Recreation administratively combined Redwood National Park with the three abutting Redwood State Parks in 1994 for the purpose of cooperative forest management and stabilization of forests and watersheds as a single unit. The ecosystem of the RNSP preserves a number of threatened animal species such as the Brown Pelican. Source
