The Grand Canyon
is a steep-sided canyon carved by the Colorado
River in the United States in the state of Arizona. For thousands of years, the
area has been continuously inhabited by Native Americans who built settlements
within the canyon and its many caves. The Pueblo people considered the Grand
Canyon a holy site and made pilgrimages

The Grand Canyon Skywalk is a transparent horseshoe-shaped cantilever bridge and tourist attraction in Arizona near the Colorado River on the edge of a side canyon in the Grand Canyon West area of the main canyon. USGS topographic maps show the elevation at the Skywalk's location as 4,770 ft and the elevation of the Colorado River in the base of the canyon as 1,160 ft, and they show that the height of the precisely vertical drop directly under the skywalk is between 500 ft and 800 ft. Cathedral Rock
is a famous landmark on the Sedona, Arizona skyline, and is one of the
most-photographed sights in Arizona, USA. Cathedral
Rock is located in the Coconino National Forest in Yavapai County, about a mile
west of Arizona Route 179, and about 2.5
miles south of the "Y"
intersection of Routes 179 and 89A in uptown Sedona. The summit elevation of
Cathedral Rock is 4,921 feet. Source
The Wave is a
sandstone rock formation located in the United States of America near the Arizona-Utah
border, on the slopes of the Coyote Buttes, in the Paria Canyon-Vermilion
Cliffs Wilderness, on the Colorado Plateau. It is famous among hikers and
photographers for its colorful, undulating forms, and the rugged, trackless
hike required to reach it. Source
Chiricahua National
Monument is a unit of the National Park Service located in the Chiricahua
Mountains in southeast Arizona. It is famous for its extensive vertical rock
formations. It was created on April 18, 1924. The national monument also
preserves the Faraway Ranch, owned at one time by Swedish immigrants Neil and
Emma Erickson. The monument is located approximately 36 miles southeast of Willcox, Arizona. Source
North Rim is a populated place in Coconino County, Arizona, United States, located adjacent to the Grand Canyon within Grand Canyon National Park. The area includes a Visitor Center, lodging, and a number of hiking trails, including the Bright Angel Point and Transept trails. North Rim is 57 miles (92 km) south-southeast of Fredonia. North Rim has a post office with ZIP code 86052. Source
