Over 25 miles  long, it exhibits many of the geologic features found in the Canyons of the Escalante, including high vertical canyon walls, narrow slot canyons, domes, arches, and natural bridges. Kanarraville is a town in Iron County, Utah, United States. The population was 311 at the 2000 census. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.4 square miles, all of it land. Kanarraville is located adjacent the southwest terminus of Cedar Valley; it is also at the foothills of the Hurricane Cliffs, on the town's east border. The median age was 44 years. For every 100 females there were 80.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 82.1 males.  Source

The Narrows in Zion National Park  is a section of canyon on the North Fork of the Virgin River. The hike of The Narrows is one of the premier hikes on the Colorado Plateau. The term The Narrows refers to both the through-hike of The Narrows, and to The Narrows themselves, especially the 3.6 miles long section of canyon between the end of the Riverside Walk Trail and Big Spring. Arches National Park is a U.S. National Park in eastern Utah. The park is located on the Colorado River 6 km North of Moab, Utah. It is known for containing over 2000 natural sandstone arches, including the world-famous Delicate Arch, in addition to a variety of unique geological resources and formations. The park is located just outside of Moab, Utah, and is 76,359 acres  in area. Its highest elevation is 5,653 feet  at Elephant Butte, and its lowest elevation is 4,085 feet  at the visitor center. Forty-three arches have collapsed due to erosion since 1970. The park receives 10 inches of rain a year on average. Administered by the National Park Service, the area was originally named a National Monument on April 12, 1929.   Source

Moab is a city in Grand County, in eastern Utah, in the western United States. The population was 5,046 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat and largest city in Grand County. Moab attracts a large number of tourists every year, mostly visitors to the nearby Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. The town is a popular base for mountain bikers who ride the extensive network of trails including Slickrock Trail, and off-roaders who come for the annual Moab Jeep Safari. The Moab Isolation Center for "noncompliant" Japanese Americans was created in response to growing resistance to WRA policies within the camps; a December 1942 clash between guards and inmates known as the "Manzanar Riot," in which two were killed and ten injured, was the final push.  On January 11, 1943, the sixteen men who had initiated the two-day protests were transferred to Moab from the town jails where they were booked (without charges or access to hearings) after the Riot.  Source
